The all-new 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe has made its global debut. Sporting a pair of engines, a longer wheelbase with three rows of seats, brilliant advanced driver-assistance technology, plus Hyundai SmartSense, the Santa Fe is even more special for buyers who have had multiple-generations of their favorite crossover SUV.
There are thoughtful touches, such as a UV-C sterilization compartment for smartphones, as well as reclining seats for rear passengers, and a leg rest for front passengers.
The all-new Santa Fe goes on sale in March of 2024 at which time more information will be available.
Performance
The standard engine is a 2.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder with 277 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque that is mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Optional is a 1.6-liter turbocharged hybrid electric that outputs 232 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque, with a 6-speed automatic.
While no EPA figures have been published as of yet, the 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe with the same 2.5L engine gets 22 mpg city and 28 mpg highway with front-wheel drive. When equipped with all-wheel drive it achieves 22 city and 25 highway mileage. The hybrid 1.6L for 2023 is able to get 33 mpg city and 30 mpg highway.
Expect the 2024 Santa Fe to get similar fuel mileage.
Exterior
The all-new Santa Fe deviates from previous generations of the vehicle. All American models have been exclusively a two-row SUV. The new square design gives the Santa Fe road presence.
More information on the LED headlights and such will be available closer to the time of sale.

The third row legroom is best-in-class, has improved rear headroom, and the second row legroom has grown by 1.4 inches for the 2.5T. The hybrid model’s second row legroom has increased by .8 inch.

With the Digital Key 2, owners will be able to access vehicle information, start the Santa Fe, and control vehicle features remotely with a smartphone.
